spring gimmicks

Fri Mar 31, 2006, 4:45 PM
i have picked up my radioshow again, but 'again' isnt a completely accurate description, as I'm taking a new direction.

the swarm of new dj's all play the same 'famous for a week' indie rock and dance pop. While it is still my favorite stuff to go see live, listeners need a break, so im branching out to instrumental post rock, some ambient nearly electronic. Think efterklang, m83, lichens, belong, explosions in the sky, mogwai.

This non chalant mood music extravaganza will be every friday, 12pm-3pm.
in philadelphia (and surrounding areas), tune in to 91.7 fm or tune in online at wkdu.org by clicking "on air".

mcats in 3 weeks. and then summer off. Havent developed holga yet. and working on stockpiling film for summer travels. excellent.

Like a building caught on fire,
smoke is churning up the funeral pyre.
Isabel, don't tell me lies, I want to see you take off your disguise.
Over the mountains I must go. Isabel, I wish it were not so.

669 is a very fun film. Any "PackFilm" camera should take it, but I'm not sure. It's the type you pull apart. You do though have to time the image. If you leave it too long it will over expose in a blue look. If you under expose you'll get this redish brown look. It's kinda tricky.

Thank you for adding me back! :)

The Slavation Army is bound to have a few every week. I keep finding ones with the batterys dead though. But if you find one, it's a steal for 2$!!!
:iconyumreadygo:
Why thank you! :D

Actually, I've never gotten sx-70. Living in Hawai'i there are limitations, of course I could just order it online... whatever. But anyway, I mainly only shoot with onestep cameras. But last week I found a 360 LandCamera at this old antiqie store down the street from my house. When I bought it I didn't realise that it's like the BEST landcam. Its also in mint condition but I had to special order batterys from polaroid.

But yeah, you keep up the awesome work yourself! Ohh, and just wait to see about them competely droping sx-70. Last year they got bought out by some huge company and are out of finacial debt!
